Your subscribers renew on
Who's making sure they stay?

I build the retention emails and flows you're missing, fix the ones you have, and run it all for you inside the subscription app you already use: failed cards recovered, cancels saved, lapsed subscribers won back. Live in 14 days.

Your subscribers, every renewal. The red ones just cancelled.

Every renewal, your subscription revenue quietly leaks in four places.

Cancels

Subscribers leave and all you get is one word: “Other.”

The default cancel page asks if they're sure, then lets them go without offering a pause, a skip, or anything that matches why they're leaving.

Failed cards

A card fails and the order just doesn't ship.

Failed payments are 20 to 30% of subscription churn, and 40 to 60% of them are recoverable with the right retries and a text at the moment the payment fails (industry benchmarks). These customers never chose to leave, and most never hear about it in time.

Too much product

The pantry fills up faster than they can use it.

“Too much product” is the most common cancel reason in subscription commerce. It usually starts with the frequency someone picked on the product page.

A pantry shelf packed with unopened refill pouches and boxes
Orders 2 and 3

Orders 2 and 3 are where most subscribers walk.

60 to 70% of all subscriber churn happens in the first three orders (industry benchmark). The product hasn't become a habit yet, nobody set expectations for order two, and skipping is harder than cancelling.

You paid to acquire every one of these subscribers. The system below keeps them.

I keep your subscribers renewing, inside the app you already pay for.

It runs across the whole subscriber lifecycle, with no migration, no new software and nothing for your team to run.

Recover

Failed cards and lapsed subscribers, won back before they're gone for good.

Save

Cancel flows, plan picker fixes and early-order touches that stop churn where it starts.

Keep

An overall retention strategy and a monthly readout of what was saved, recovered and won back, so you always know what's working and what's next.

What I install

Seven pieces. If you don't have one, I build it. If you do, I audit it and make it better. All written and run for you inside your subscription app and email tool.

Failed-card recovery. Smarter retry timing plus card-update emails and texts in your brand voice, with a one-tap link straight to the payment page.

A cancel flow that listens. Every cancel reason leads somewhere useful: pause, skip, swap or a new frequency. It never leads with a discount, and offers only go to the reasons and customers where they change the outcome.

Plan picker and frequency defaults. A subscribe box that explains itself and starts people on a cadence they can actually keep up with.

Habit-building onboarding. Routine tips, what-to-expect and use-it-up nudges that turn the product into part of someone's day, so it's a habit before order three ships.

Upcoming-order reminders that keep people. A reminder a few days before each order with skip, swap and date changes right in the message, so the reminder stops being the moment people cancel.

Win-back that's timed. Return offers sent in the 30 to 45 day window after a cancel, when coming back is most likely, with one-click reactivation.

Your overall retention strategy. Cohort reads that show exactly where people drop, cancel reasons fed back to product and offers, and what changes after order three, when the job shifts from keeping subscribers to growing their orders with bundles, add-ons and prepaid plans. Plus a one-page readout every month.

Cancel flow. The reason picks the save.
Failed card. One text, one tap, order saved.
Order reminder. Skip or swap right in the message.

Three steps. Live in 14 days.

  1. Step 01

    Audit

I go through your store as a customer: subscribe, open the portal, try to cancel. You get screenshots of every leak and what I'd change.

  2. Step 02 · 14 days

    Build

I build every flow you're missing and rework the ones you have, inside your subscription app and email tool, and write all the copy. You approve every screen before it goes live.

  3. Step 03

    Optimize

I run it every month against your real numbers: saves, recovered cards, reactivations.

Not an app setting, and not another email agency.

Versus your app's defaults

The tools are already in your app.
Almost nobody configures them past the setup wizard.
Defaults are built for every brand.
Which means they fit none of them exactly.
Nobody is watching the numbers.
Settings don't improve on their own.

Versus a generic email agency

They send campaigns. That's one slice of retention.
The cancel flow, retry logic, portal and plan picker go untouched.
Strategy is usually an add-on.
You get sends, not an audit of where subscribers actually leave.
Subscribers aren't a promo list.
Blast them like one and you speed up the cancels.

Versus a consultant

Advice is the easy half.
A roadmap still needs someone to build it.
Your team is already full.
The roadmap waits behind the launch calendar.
I do the build and run it.
You approve the work, you don't do it.

I'm Jordan Bryant. I do subscription retention for a living.

Subscribers rarely cancel because of the product. A card expires. The pantry fills up because the default was every 30 days. Someone hits cancel because skipping was buried three screens deep.

I've spent my career in the subscription space watching what actually keeps people renewing. Most of it never makes it past the default settings of the app a brand installed.

So I set it up and run it for you, inside the app you already use. Your customers hear from your brand, in your voice, never from an agency.

If your churn hasn't improved in 90 days, I refund my management fees. You keep everything I built.

I carry the risk, and you keep the system either way.

Is this for you?

A fit if

  • You sell subscriptions on Shopify
  • You run Loop, Stay AI, Smartrr, Bold, Awtomic, Appstle or a similar app
  • You do $50k+/mo in subscription revenue
  • You want it handled, not another tool to run

Probably not yet if

  • You're under $50k a month in subscription revenue, or still finding product-market fit
  • You'd rather run the tools yourself
  • You're not ready to act on what the audit finds
That's me, book the call (opens in a new tab) I'll tell you on the call if it isn't a fit. That happens, and it costs you 20 minutes.

Questions

Do I have to switch subscription apps?

No. I work inside the app you already pay for: Loop, Stay AI, Smartrr, Bold, Awtomic, Appstle and similar Shopify apps. No migration and no new contract with another tool.

We already have some flows. Do you start over?

No. I audit what's live, keep what works, fix what doesn't, and build what's missing.

Will a cancel flow get us in trouble?

No. Every flow keeps cancelling easy and follows automatic-renewal rules like California's. Saves come from better options, not from hiding the button.

Is this just email marketing?

No. Email and text are delivery channels. The work is the retention system around them: the cancel flow, failed-card recovery, the portal, the plan picker, onboarding and win-back, all measured every month.

What happens on the call?

Twenty minutes with me, no deck and no sales team. You tell me your app and roughly what you do a month in subscription revenue. I show you example flows, name the leaks I'd expect on your setup, and give you a fee. If it isn't a fit I'll say so on the call.

How long until it's live?

Usually 14 days from kickoff. The audit comes first, then the build. A heavily customized setup can take longer; you'll get a real date on the call.

Do I have to do the work?

No. I handle the build, the copy and the monthly running. You approve what goes live and get a one-page readout each month.

What does it cost?

It depends on your size and setup. A brand doing $50k a month in subscriptions and one doing $500k need different builds. Book a call and you'll get a number on that call, before you commit to anything.
